Beach Taco is a new quick service restaurant concept that opened November 4, 2017 in the South of Fifth neighborhood of Miami Beach between Collins Ave. and Washington Ave. on 1st St. (100 Collins Avenue #CU3). Beach Taco brings to South Beach a creative new take on the tacqueria by combining premium, natural and exotic ingredients with an emphasis on flavor.
Previously recognized for Estiatorio Milos, Komodo, Wynwood Diner, Pacific Time, Pride & Joy, Pacific East - Hamptons, and Tavern on the Green. Chef Castino explains, “What made the most sense of this partnership and restaurant concept was that the industry has very high quality and luxury slew of restaurants and not enough high quality and reasonably priced serving eateries. I enjoyed getting back to the basics, and am happy to serve the community and visitors of Beach Taco.”
Young entrepreneurs, Ted Taylor and Joe Marocco, teamed up with renowned Restauranteur and Chef, Michael Castino, an industry veteran and Miami local, to bring Beach Taco to life. Chef Castino, in close collaboration with Ted and Joe, created the menu and recipes using only local vendors thereby promoting businesses within the community. The team came together based on the mutually shared values of serving great food and always striving for “the perfect bite”.
