Miami Beach, FL – July 1, 2017– Beach Taco is a new quick service restaurant concept with two locations coming to Miami Beach and Miami this summer. The team behind BT recently signed a multiple year lease at 100 Collins Ave. #CU3 in the swanky Miami Beach neighborhood of SOFI (South of Fifth), as well an agreement to provide the food service at Barrio and Cafeina Lounge in Wynwood at 297-299 NW 23rd St. The founders describe their concept as a “fast and fresh taqueria with an Asian-flare.”
Opening end of summer 2017, Beach Taco’s flagship location in SOFI will serve tacos, burritos, and quesadillas made with locally sourced ingredients for its “fast & fresh” tacos on-the-go concept. The healthy and affordable options will be the perfect meal for beachgoers, neighborhood residents and employees, tourists, and the late night crowd.
The Grand Opening for Beach Taco’s Wynwood location will take place on Saturday, August 12th 2017 and will serve patrons a late night menu of tacos, skewers, dumplings, and guacamole.
Beach Taco was an idea conceived by Ted Taylor and Joe Marocco, two young entrpreneurs and investors originally from NYC and California. They have partnered with the reknowned Chef Michael Castino , an industry veteran whom is previously known for Milo’s, Komodo, Wynwood Diner and more, to bring Beach Taco to life.
“When I moved here from San Francisco and after having Mission district tacos as a staple of my diet, I was taken aback by the quality of Miami tacos. It is Beach Taco’s mission to educate the market on what a delicious taco tastes like,” says Joe.
Furthermore, the business opportunity became impossible to pass on when the perfect location fell in The Taco Boys’ laps. “After touring several locations, it became clear that our current space was the perfect fit for our business. We are really excited to bring a quality of taco and burrito that is currently unavailable in the market and at a reasonable price point that will be sure to keep our customers coming back for more,” says Ted.
